| I took this little beauty today, man are they hard to get. This little fella didnt realise I was there and flew onto the wire above my head, I was pretty excited to say the least. Arent they beautiful. I have no idea what kind of kingfisher this is and would love to hear from anyone who knows. |

Kingfishers will always remain my favourite bird. This is a great image of this dainty little one. I remember my first posting on Trek Nature also being a Kingfisher and a dedication to my husband Loot. Loot Eksteen I love the very blue of the sky that makes a lovely background and highlight the colours and details of the bird. A swanky little bird presented in a delightful manner. Thanks for sharing.
