Another shot from Aoraki/Mt. Cook National Park.
View over a valley.
Typical for mountains and especially in New Zealand :), it was raining and very misty. But even that the mist and the rain gives a poor visibility, it's a beautiful scene nevertheless. |

Hi Christian,
this photo is very good as the mist creates a layered effect in the mountains so rain is not always a bad thing for the mood it generates.You have decent foreground detail as well despite the rain,I only wish that small tree were lighter for detail's sake. Nicely done and thanks for putting up this one. Bob

Another shot of Aoraki and another really nice picture :)
I like the deep DOF and lovely POV. Maybe only the trees on the FG are not necessary but this is still a nice composition :)

The thorns in foreground are the eye catcher, but the mountains in background care for great atmosphere through the little bit misty, nice landscape picture. TFS.

Imponent wasteland, I like the composition with few elements. As John say I think the more interesting are the thorny branch and mountains fading behind
