[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Jelly Jacket Webcap (Cortinarius vitreopileatus) is a brown spored mushroom found in southern beech forests.
The stem is 30-70mm high and the cap, 25-35mm in diameter, is covered in a glutinous layer of slime which can be up to 3mm thick.
I found this one on mossy ground in dimly lit beech forest alongside the Bealy River at Arthurs Pass in the Southern Alps.

Hi Steve,
The coat of slime really shows well in this exposure. The colors and detail look great. You live in such an amazingly diverse landscape. Such unique flora and fauna.
