[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Well, this is the first sunset I have ever posted on TN.
I took this at Barrytown,a tiny settlement at the foot of the Paparoa ranges, nestled between the forest and the coast.
This is looking out towards the Tasman sea, through the silhouettes of NZ Cabbage Trees (Ti Kouka in Maori)
I hope you like it.

Hi Steve.
The pics sure move fast, seen you and then you were gone.
Sure makes the old common scuffy cabbage tree look quite spectacular silhouetted against the lovely colours. Well seen and composed, exposure, detail, all spot on. May I suggest a crop from the bottom of half the black, brings the eye up into the image nicely.

Hi Steve,
Fantastic sunset shot. Lovely hues and colours of the sky and the silhoettes of the Cabbage Trees create magic here. Such a serene and memorable place that must be. Very nicely composed. Kudos.
TFS.

Hi Steve

Now this is a really nice shot. We missed the West Coast sunsets as the weather was a tad overcast and rainy when we passed through. Maybe next time. TFS
