This is an amazing macro for this strange mushroom. Incredible blue color.
The "+++" : composition, original subject with nice shape, colors, POV, sharpness, texture of cap, detail on gills, excellent DOF, blurred BG, exposure...
The "-" : nothing...

Now that is a cool fungi.
I've never seen a blue one like this before, that colour is amazing.
Stuning sharpnes with superb texture detail on the stem, cap and gills.
Great POV.

Excellent macro of the E.hochstetteri Kathleen.
This shade of blue isn't always the easiest to capture well (a bit like the red Hygroybes). The autofocus seems to have problems picking it up.
You've done a great job here.
The details are excellent and the POV is interesting. Different to what we usually see in E,hochstetteri shots.
