I certainly do enjoy the view, i love to see shots from different coastlines around the world and this is a great example. 3mp/12mp who cares when the composition and view are as interesting as this. Well timed with the blowhole in action with nice marine colours. very well done,

We have a spot in Mendocino County Coast where many TV ads have been filmed, movies as well. They have these blow-holes as well and as pictured so well here by you today, they are an amazing sight when waves are high.

Very good depth to this picture giving it a majestic perspective.

Here although it is a not good camera but the capture is very well and that is I think only because of a tripod. Excellent composition and colors. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Hi Kathleen,
Sorry, I am not so sure about the composition of this photo. It looks like the horizon has a small lilt. The water spray is also too centered and a bit too far into the scenery. A bit closer and more to the left facing the ocean a bit more would probably be better.

Hi Kathy,
I missed this one before so here I am now.
I know this spot well. Theres another blowhole high on the shelf to the left but it only blows on very high tides.
If you walk across the shelf there are amazing photo opportunities too.Some brilliant holey rocks and huge caves in the cliff face around the corner.
Along the beach to the north are some fantastic spots too. Big caverns and the logest nikau I've ever seen growing along the ground and then up.
My favourite blowhole is the big one in the south end of Seal Island at Woodpecker Bay.
I think you've seen my shots of it.
