| Another lonely Matai tree stands in a paddock in the Okuru Valley, South Westland. Time is slowly taking these old giants. |

Good B&W composition,
Well done,
What exactly i like here is half of the tree is without leaves and half of the tree had them :)

Hi Neroli, fascinating composition with splendid lonely tree, lovely B&W with superb light, very well done, have a nice week end, ciao Silvio
Hi Neroli.
I see you have been busy with your trees, great images. This is a good choice for b/w, really gives it contrast and shows the bare limbs with clarity against the grey sky. Beautifully done
Kathleen
Like the B/W effect here Neroli.
It takes a while for these things to die of old age.
In fact it takes a seed about 2 and a half years to germinate and a tree 400 to 600 years to actually pass the juvenile stage!
These ones must be very old indeed.
Cheers,Steve
