Hmmmm ... I guess it's all about controlling the numbers eh Janice? When I was in queenstown a local told me a story about hunting rabbits in the Remarkables. He told me 100 hunters had shot thousands of rabbits all day long and then at the end of the day, when a shot was fired in the air, still thousands of rabbits could be seen running scared. In NZ everything gets out of countrol if it ain't endemic. Don't know if that's the case with ducks though.

Your picture is very nice! I am glad you joined the duck-ckub. :) Details are very sharp and the light is great. Well done on this one Janice.

Btw:I have a question for you I always wanted to ask. When you entered TN, was it a typo? --> Janice, Jancie or did you register with Jancie on purpose? ;) Just a question. Cheers and have a great weekend (I know it's Fridaynight where you live).

Dear Janice :-)
You made next perfect photo. And this subject - just unusual and unparalleled :-)
Thank you for this rare bird ;-)))

I really like this shot Janice ;-)))

Very nice picture, Janice
Good composition, details and colours
Very well done.

Well done Janice. Great details and colors in this "master mallard". I used to be a hunter before TN and had no qualms about hunting/killing for sport..These days I can't even run over a wildflower with the lawnmower without second thoughts! ;-)) I guess you could say I've been converted!!!

Interesting, Black Swan? Why?
Excelent capture and well done on this composition.

Mike

Hi there :)
great details on young Mr Duck. I never knew what they looked like when young.

Details are good too.. Love the little curly feather on the tail.

Hi Janice
Very nice and sad note, do not mind the DD's but not the black swans! They are very expensive here, and seldom seen, as well. Nice DD, no nits, FS.
