[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This chap visited outside my office window today. He didn't stay long. I think he was camera shy, but he was there long enough for me to take this momento through a very dirty window. I am really pleased with the result consideing the state of the window! Dusty, sea salt, (I look out over Auckland Harbour) and any other foreign body that gets stuck to windows. The BG is so hazy due to rain.

Acrobatic pose Pam! Dirty window didn't disturb too much - it is very good shot. BG looks slightly gray and 'rainy' - no sun today?

Razorsharp details and wonderful composition. The atmosphere is a little gloomy but I like the photo a lot. TFS!

Nice capture, good POV and pose. Good details, but it misses a bit more colours.
Well done.
TFS.

Pam, you must have a nice office.
Excelent capture and I'm glad this little guy made your day, it would mine.
Well done on this composition.

You have a very good collectiotion of herons. The sharpness is very good and the grey/silver tones adds to the impact of the shot.

Belle et intéressante photo pour ce superbe Héron. J'aime bien sa position qui fait de jolies courbes. Bonne netteté.
Well Done !!!

Well captured Pam,
nicely exposed to get the details so sharp and clear.
He must have brightened up what looks like a gloomy day.
Thanks for posting

Excellent capture considering the conditions. Wouldn't have known it was taken through a dirty window if you hadn't have said so. I like the curved neck and back. Good job.

Pam, it's fascinating. You managed to capture an excellent pose.

Great sharpness, pov and composition.

Congratulations.

Nice capture Pam,
Blue Herrons were endangered in the Saint Louis Missouri (USA) area but with recent building of the backwaters/wetland areas near the Mississippi River they have made a comeback. It's nice to see a White Herron for the first time. I didn't notice the dirty window. Great shot!
