What a fascinating image James. I think it might be fun to crop out some interesting abstract compositions from this larger view. The color and sharpness is wonderful.

Hello James,
Right, you're going really abstract now! This looks quite unreal but I'm sure it is a true picture of this amazing phenomena! Your note is most interesting. I've never heard of rock flour before! Very beautiful capture and well presented.
Many thanks and regards,Ulla

Hi James,
now this is one heck of a landscape shot! I love the colouration of the river from the Rock Flour and you've got some super sharp detail too, which must have been pretty tricky from a plane! Fascinating to look at, it tells it's own story, very well done and thanks for sharing it with us!

Great interest in this aerial view James..
If there was some red, the braiding would almost look like arteries & veins. You've done an excellent job of it. I've seen this before, but never so well defined - Or so well done :)

Hi James!
This is a surprising picture. The colours and the patterns of the river seem to come from another planet. It would be interesting to know if you have worked on it in your editing software.
Kind regards

So, you are still in NZ.
What fascinating scenery this is James. There are many rivers in the South Island running from the mountains, and you wonder how the farmers on the high stations manage crossing the streams, especially back in the olden days - nowadays they most probabaly have helicopters and planes... It is a dangerous life.
Thank you for showing me a special and picturesque part of my country.

Hi James
This is absolutely amazing!
I love all your shot taken from planes and helicopters and this definitely is no exception. I also love the quality of your notes, too. It shows us just how passionate you are about what you do and how much you really know about all these interesting phenomena. They really are lessons to learn!
This "milky" river is absolutely amazing and i think that this is the best POV to shoot it from. Its color and texture are very well shown here as well as the beautiful curves it takes.
The composition thus created is magical and the tones really enhance it here. Splendid work, my friend!
Bravo and TFS

P.S. Did you know that Adrain Warren and Dae Sasitorn made a book called 'Britain from the Air'?
