Cute little fellow. Nice pose and composition and I like the texture of the wood stem leading trough the picture.
Good natural colors and white balance.
Looks as if this zoo provides a bit of natural environment.

What a wonderful pose of the Panda.
He must have known you were busy taking shots of him and therefore he wanted to be at its best.
Excellent sharpnes and exposure and due to that all fur details are wonderfully visible.
Beautiful colors and clarity in the eyes.

Hi Janice

This is truly such a beautiful animal, but the poor thing is carrying an overload of names with it (chuckle). Your photo has done justice to its amazing colouration. I showed it to some friends at work and all the ladies had the same response as Red Greg: "I want one!" Who can blame them with such a cute face and all that cuddly and multi-coloured fur?

The composition is great with the log leading into the frame and the Panda curled up in the fork. The details are excellent and of course the total awareness of the animal with the direct eye contact is just perfect.

Such a lovely photo of the red panda. I have seen them in a small zoological park, Nordens Ark, on the west coast of Sweden. It is difficult to understand that they are close relatives to the big, black and white panda.
