Very nice, Janice!
I like the composition of this image and the position of the two White-fronted Terns in relation to each other in the sky. Having them up in the upper third of the image works very well here while the OOF sea and land make a great BG.
Great too see the features of this species that is unknown in Europe, though it might be common in NZ!

Hi Janice,
Superb composition of the white fronted terns with great PoV and DoF.The white of the tern stands in sharp contrast against the blue water in the OOF Bg.If chance had it i would have had that single tern diagonally placed in the corner.The wingspan captured is very impressive. Very well done.

Hi Janice

Great shot. We get these over in Oz during winter. I saw a few when I was over in NZ recently, but only got ordinary shots. I like the way the right one is watching you while diving for a fish.
Well composed with good sharpness.

I remember the days when you could get out in the weather and get these...Very nice Janice...but you cannot save summer and fall through images..I think...somehow it does help though to give you a mindset of how you think...and what do you look forward to this winter????? I certainly hope you can find some interesting things....even if it is inside, hiding in a corner as a spider..

Well done Janice, you've captured two great inflight poses with very good DOF. Nice color, exposure, and detail..
The birds stand out against the blue of the sea, and the horizon beaks up the comp nicely :)

Beautiful in-flight composition this two sterns. You have made the BG well vaporous. But such that it is still recognizable. I like birds in action, and you did it for me. Thanks for that. Interesting supporting note.
