I have at the same point also made photos. Nice to see this back. Always a beautiful seascape overthere. By low or High tide, thats makes no difference. For me a very impressive view and the clarity is GREAT !!!

The waves meet the shredded clouds, this is superb Tony! There is a 3D effect in your picture because of the contrasting bright white against the sky. It is simply superb and the birds at the foreground, that I have seen last, add life and a scale to this beautiful picture of yours. Thank you, I wish I was a gull walking in the surf in the winter of New Zealand. I don't think I would go elsewhere!

You are right! This is a sea scene at its best! I just love the power of the breaking waves, casting spume in every direction! I can almost hear the noise!

I like the way you have used the rock face as a natural border and the composition is very well thought out.

UOU UOU UOU!!! what a nice view, oh my!!! seems taken from a movie! it´s amazing. Great compo: amazing colours, good light, great POV and DOF.
Maybe you should try to adjust a bit more to the rule of 1/3 (cut a little of the sky and show a bit more of the sea). It´s a shame that the birds can´t be seen well.
Although that, this place is great. Seems that you love it and that´s the most important thing when you have to show it to others. Thank you very much for share this great pic!!

What a brilliant Pov Tony!

The PoV gives me the image in my mind that you sat there just around the corner as if a little child and looked up to the world beyond.

A breathtaking view that is very active and teeming with life..the water spray looks brilliant as the tide set in and the patterns of blues in the high seas and the sky loks absolutely wonderful.the gulls here seem to make the best of the time looking for food.

It was a marvellous idea to include the towering rock into the composition.It is this very element that gives the viewer the feeling the view is "just around the corner".Lighting creates a great mood.

Very well done.

Oh! I do love a seascape, Tony, and this is one of the nicer that I've seen in a while. It would make a great puzzle or postcard. I like the texture and contrast of your framing rock, the shutter speed that captures the spume and spray in mid-froth, the muted lighting, and the rich palette of wintry colors.

The border of sea and land is always nice to photograph, and many pictures of this area look really nice. This one is no exception :) I like vivid and natural colours and interesting POV. The rocks on the left side add character to this image and keep it "not so flat" as in case when only beach would be presented :)
