[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Female bellbird (Anthornis melanura), she is a regular visitor to my bird table. Also a regular visitor to my table is a male bellbird - heres hoping they will breed locally this year. Bellbirds and tuis have increased in numbers around Havelock North in recent years and it has been put down to the control of predators in the area.

Nice capture Richard. Her red eye certainly stands out strongly.
I have seen these birds on Tiritiri Island, a bird sanctuary in the Hauraki Gulf, but I've not seen any around home.
It's a good POV looking upwards at her.
