Hello Janice,
I really hope that the weather soon calms down and how sad that you had to break up early from you holiday! This is a fine composition showing the rough muddy waves hitting the beaach. Very nice light and colours and I like the mountain in the far distance,
TFS and cheers, Ulla

Hi Janice,
The sea allways has a fascination for us humans and you have captured it well with good composition and mood. Hope you folk do not have any more damage there.
Robin
This was a good time for photographers I can see...The swells are not as large as some of the 25 footers I have seen, but the waves sure are dynamic and caught well in science. What you have is actually two waves colliding..one back and the other in...and if they do not meet peak to peak, they will not nullify. this gives good opportunity to capture droplets and such...harsh on the gear if not well protected however...

Hello Janice!
Dangerous but beautifull. We haven't got tropical cyclones ofcourse, but sometimes our Baltic Sea is very dangerous. Similiar 'dirty' waves are full of amber in some places along Polish coast. I like diagonal composition with white foam and distant mountains on horizon. Grim grey colours are very suitable for your notes. 36 hours in room sounds not very good. I hope weather will be better soon, my friend!

Hello Janice,
A great bit of timing to catch these two colliding rollers and set it in such a fine composition with the mountain on the horizon. It looks like we're all in for more extremes of weather with global warming. I hope our grandchildren can cope with what is to come!
Thanks for sharing this bit of drama,
Ivan

Hi Janice,
It must be very frightening to be in a tropical cyclone... I'm not comfortable with thunderstorms (especially while camping in the middle of a forest) so I can imagine how I would feel in a tropical cyclone! This picture is very impressive, beautiful and well done. I really like this movement captured, we feel the strength of the elements. Thanks and take care :)

Hi Janice!
You caught that hit very well! It's a simple, yet very pleasant and powerful picture. I try to go to the sea once a year mainly because I need to see and feel the waves. They are so captivating and impressive, like yours. Maybe I'm also interested in everything that is ephemeral... that means in everything concerning our nature...
Kind regards
Markus
