New Zealand Silvereye.
Test driving new camera,so far so good.
I have changed from canon 5D to canon 40D.
The 1.6 crop factor on the 40D will help me ge a bit closer to the birds |

Lovely shot Russell!! they are lovely birds to photograph. I love the colours. This is a lovely sharp shot with beautiful colours. I love the way the feathers are a lttle wet looking, was it one of those rainy days. I took a shot of a bit of a wet and dedraggled waxeye the other day. Anyway great shot.

Always hard taking a shot against the grey bright sky but you have a great exposure showing great detail in the Silvereye. Like the placement of him in the top of the image looking down. Well done.
