[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Brrrrrrrrrr.....A shot taken whilst driving through Arthur's Pass in the Southern Alps of the South Island (on the way from Christchurch to Greymouth).
There was snow further up the mountains but this was the severe frost at the base of the mountains....and we are only just starting winter. Hope they have all their winter woollys ready.

So you've been down the South Island this year too Jo. This frosty morning would have been a bit of a shock for you Aucklanders. We don't know how lucky we are, do we? Interesting shot showing some of the ends have thawed already. Good job!
