Following yesterdays landscape shot of 10 Mile beach and the Motukiekie rocks I thought I'd post another view from a slightly different angle.
This is taken from the summit of Mt George.
The walking track to get up here is just across the road from the track that I took down to the beach.
However,neither track is really known about by anyone other than locals,so hardly anyone ever visits these places.
Its great to have beaches and walks where you never see anyone else.
You might recognise this as being the same place where I photographed coal and quartz both protruding from the rock in close proximity.
I hope you like the shot.
