Hi All,

As you all know, I love sea gulls. This old boy was having a really nice bath in the sea and almost fully emersed himself in the water andas you can see from the shot, the water made a wonderful rivulette as it flowed off his back. I really enjoyed this shot. It's so nice to see these animals in thier natural environment.

I hope that you enjoy this shot.

Very nice shot! They are very beautiful, elegant birds. He does look like he's enjoying himself splashing around in the water. I like how you've caught those water droplets too. Very cool. I've also got a post here of a seagull. We get a lot here in Australia. They are such nice birds, not a speck wrong on them :)

Nice shot of the Red Billed Gull. Love the drop of water frozen in time and how it flows over it's neck. Good timing. Nice light, POV and light, detail. Sharpness could be better. Nice work. Thanks.

this is a funny portrait. This gull is very beautiful, it seems to pose for you. Well done.

Good capture Erich, especially with the water drops. His feathers are a bit OE maybe, never easy with these birds, but his actions make up for that. I love the colours of the water. Well done.
I think I know this fellow as I'm sure I've seen him before! I missed these birds last week - never saw one gull in Fiji!
