Tuatara are rare, medium-sized reptiles (adults ranging from about 300g to 1000g) found only in New Zealand. This photo was taken at the Southland Museum Invercargill.

Hello Pam. I like this chap, I've seen these on TV before, and is it true that these are not lizards but a order/family unto themselves?
I think the picture is overexposed and with all those grey tones that was always going to be difficult. Nice composition though.
I've posted a workshop, i've given the picture a tighter crop and upped the saturation a bit.

El tercer ojo... el principal punto por el que siempre se menciona esta especie... mis recuerdos de dicumentales televisivos de la infancia.
Coincido con la crítica de PDP sobre la imagen... poco colorido y algo sobre expuesta.
La perspectiva y composicion son agradables de todas formas.

I agree with the PDP critic on the image... little colorful and something over exposed.
