[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi All,

Well as I said in my last posting, the pressures of life (i.e. work) have taken their toll on me in the last week or two. I hope to have most of my pressure resolved in the next week or two and then be more active on this site, but until then I'll try to post as and when I can.

Anyway, I have to say that I love this photo --- it represents a bit of a break through for me regarding sharpness. I took this shot about two months ago whilst at the botanical gardens in Auckland. I really love the colours and the sharpness. The angle of the gull in not totally ideal, but I still like it.

By the way it's not autumn here in NZ (rather spring), but I just loved the Autumn colors in this shot.

Anyway --- back to work I guess. I hope that you all enjoy this shot.

Ahhh ... what colours. I almost look forward to autumn (not quite). I like the angle, as the wings make a ripple shape that the blurred waterwaves BG takes up. VERY good!

Excellent work! I like the composition and framing here. The colors and detail are very good, and I really like the pose. I truly understand about work pressure. My release is to go out by myself and take some shots.

But what a super shot, I love the colours too.The pose as he heads straight at you is good. Perhaps we wanted to ask you how all his rellies at Murrays Bay are. Well done.

I too like the colours reflected in the water.
The bird's not to bad either.
He looks like he is looking at you and is going to fly over and peck your camrea.
