What a great shot - I'm from NZ and I've never seen a green gecko before. Well done Gareth and welcome to TN.

Welcome to TN Gareth. This is a fantastic way to start! Nice image clear image of this lovely species. Well captured. We used to have pet green gecko's when my children were young. We used to catch flies to feed them and let fruit start to rot to encourage fruit flies to enter their cage. They were very tame. This photo has brought back some great memories! TFS

Very cool, unique moment ! It has the figure of a happy knight after a jousting tournament with his helmet propped open.
Welcome to TN. Looking forward for more !

Well.fancy that! I never thought I'd see a photo on TN that I'd seen before...but I have. I saw this last week.
Hello Gareth. Fancy meeting you here. You'll meet a few green friends here,(and a few grey/brown ones).
This is a cool shot to say Hello with.
Heaps of character & well framed. Good sense of depth.
Talking of depth...I'm glad you enjoyed our caving trip on Monday. The photos were all pretty mediocre, nothing sensational.I'll send a few more soon, and find something to post.

Hi Gareth!

Boyz in da hood in New Zealand's way :-) Excellently spotted.

Excellent capture of the lizard shedding his skin, colours are good, but image is a little soft and lacking in fine detail.

Hi Gareth and welcome to TN. The picture is very small - they can be 800 pixels here. The picutre itself is great, I love the colours and composition is nice. Good capture of this moment. Well done.

I have never seen this and probably never will. Stunning image. Very well done.

Thanks for posting

That’s one of this kind of unique pictures, unique moment. Unfortunately the light and sharpness are not very good. But it’s very hard to ask for repetition I suppose.

Great picture of animal live.

This is really Treknature stuff, yes it is. Incredible shot, looks from another world, "extramundi", just what my nick means. A pity is it not bigger to take advantage of the 800x800 TN offers you. Thanks Gareth, hope to see more critics and pictures soon.

This is funny, looks like he is wearing his halloween costume. well seen

There are very few images that make me say "oh wow!" just from the thumbnail. This is one of them! Looking forward to seeing more "hooded" lizards - this is a great capture of this often private moment for the gecko.
