A very good shot, a bit over exposed on the bird's back.
TFS.

Great capture in flight, you have done well here to get a nice sharp image with everything in focus. A little overexposed on the back but black and white plumage is hard to ballance in such shots, well done.

You must have spent a great day at Muriwai yesterday Pam. Beautiful shots of these magnificent birds. You have captured this one very well. TFS. I will be waiting for the next shots...

Ahhh...there's that beautiful Gannet again. This is very lovely...it has an airy grace to it. Beautiful.

Very good flight-in Pam.
As mention it is a little overexposure
but very good details, composition and colours.
Great work.

Wauw, i like it Pam,
I think this photo is better then the one you posted before this, but ofcoarse that is personal. very good balance in the shot, good sharpnes, colours, and dof, very good job

I missed your first gannet, Pam. I would say that the first one has a higher artistic touch than this one, but that this one gives more about the bird. Exceptional head and beak details as well as wings black feathers. Tail and foot are amazingly sharp. Delicate color shades on the neck are simply wonderful. More of this kind, please!

Lovely photo Pam, nice and sharp, good depth of field. I like the frame and also the note.
Well spotted!

Nice shot, were you on some kind of a rock?

Pam this is just as nice as the previous one. Very sharp. The light was in your favour with F6.7 at 1/2000 and you still over exposed a bit. I think you could have easily dropped to F8. But its always easy to say so after the fact... :) Great shot, love it!

Hi Pam
Your Gannets are beautiful, and skilfully caught. I know how hard it is to get them on the wing, and then they are mostly white as well, wrecking havoc with the light meter, This is a lovely pose and POV.
