[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is another of the brightly coloured waxgills from the beech forest plateau above the Arnold River.
Hygrocybe cerinolutea
Cap:
10-25mm in diameter,at first hemispherical,then becoming convex,may flatten at centre,golden to lemon yellow,dry,may be finely scaled or felted,not radially striate.
Gills:adnate to slightly decurrent,darke yellow.
Stem:25-40mm high,3-5mm diameter,more or less cylindrical,tapering slightly towards base.
Flesh:Yellow Spore print:White
Found mostly in autumn months in leaf litter in broadleaf,podocarp and beech forests throughout New Zealand.

Here in Lodz the insect season is just starting and as I see in NZ the mushrooms predominate :)
Beautiful colours of this species. Picture has nice composition and sharpness. DOF would be a little better because specimens in BG are a little out of focus unfortunatelly. Anyway it is nice to see so colourful species :)
