[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
There are a lot of good notes on other peoples photos of white fronted terns, so I wont repeat them. These are beautiful friendly little birds. These ones let me get right up close to them, without even blinking an eyelid. If they thought I was getting a little too close, they would just move away a short distance and continue looking out to see. I have read tonight that they are known to face into the breeze and that is certainly what they were doing when I saw them.

Nice capture of the terns, Nicki. Strong contrasts make the whites a bit bright / over-exposed, but you were lucky to be up this close to them. And you have caught the catch-light in their eyes too - that's a good,bonus,
