| From the distance Uluru appears to be a lifeless monolith. Up close it is filled with wonderful gorges teeming with life. I suppose it shouldn't be surprising given the fact that because of the acres of ground this rock covers, there must be lots of water that poors off this baby. So hikes into the gorges are amazing (especially on a nice winter day like this one, where the air temp was a perfect 22C). |

You really have some contrasting land features over there fella! If I wasn't afraid of the 1000 spiders which kill in seconds and same with snakes..or so the myths go....this would be a place to set up a nice camp...provided I had provisions...sounds redundant.! But there is never enough suds for Bobby!
