|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|This is a Tree Kangaroo, a marsupial endemic to the island of New Guinea. I was able to get this close to the animal because it does not have any fear of humans. Deep inside the extinct volcano called Mt. Bosavi, the ecosystem is so remote and untouched, the animals (many are found nowhere else on earth) have no fear of humans because they have never seen one before. Bosavi is probably one of the most magical places left on earth.|

Congratulations on another attractive shot. This particular image is very interesting since I have never seen one of these cute little animals before. Looks like the picture of innocence as it naps without a worry in the world. Excellent detail of the facial area with just the right exposure.
Would be interesting to see what an f/9 aperture would have done to give a little greater DOF to this already eye captivating photo.
so sweet is this... good angle to capture the mood. wish the other hand was not outside the frame.
Brilliant shot. Rare and interesting species.
Two nits if I may:
- you could have move the camera a little to the right to include the paw and to remove the irrelevant area on the left.
- A pity about the human foot behind.
Lovely. Thanks for sharing.
