Simpley very nice capture.
I think it would of made a good wide picture by extending the width of the frame.

Lovely capture...I think these are one of the prettiest of the sea birds and hope to see a Northern Gannet ( that's what we have in this hemisphere ) with my own eyes someday. My only nit with this image is I think I would have liked to see a little more room under the Gannet. Well done.

Very striking shot, I like it, especially the outstretched wing with the curling feathers on the end.

Great capture Pam. The blurred cloudy sky in the background is fantastic. Very good position of the bird in the frame. These gannets are a little bit different from our Northern Gannet: black feathers on the wings.

Firstly, all the best for 2005, Pam. I have missed some of yur shots. I have been away from the site for a while and have a weeks vacation left so I might drop of the radar again.
This photo is one of your best. The in-flight action absolutely stunning. The pose, sky and beautifull critter all comes together to make this an exceptional post. Very well done.

Besides been a technically very good image, I find it very artistic and relaxing. The lights showing perfectly the tones of the bird and the beautiful BG makes this shot special. Nice post, I agree with the Large Post possibility. Thanks.

Beautiful capture of yet another birdie which is high up my wish list ;-)) Sharp capture, the whites of the bird nicely exposed.

Hello Pam
I simply don't understand how I missed this one. The composition is perfect and the effect with the b/w water and the colours on the bird is just great. Good sharpness and well handled light.

Oh wow. So incredibly sharp! That must have been difficult with the bird in full flight.
I like how you managed to offset the bird clearly against the background while both are light and whitish. The bird could have easily fallen away against the background, but because the pic is so sharp, it doesn't. Very nicely done, TFS.
