Vicunas near Salinas Grandes, province of Jujuy, north west of Argentina. Altitude : 3400 m.

The Vicuna is a very gracefull animal. It lives only in high altitudes of the Andes. We were fortunate enough to see many of them wild in the north west of Argentina.

In one village, they use the vicuna's hair to fabric very expensive garments. We have never touched a softer material in our live,even softer than our domestic cat's fur.
