These falls are only a few of the almost 275 falls that together is called 'Iguacu Falls' They are placed on the border of Argentina and Brazil and it's a fantastic expirence to visite them from both contries... It's posible to get very close to a lot of the falls thanks to a lot of tracks and bridged that are made around the falls...
The falls is almost 80 meters high and an old legend tells that they were made by an angry god who wantet to stop his daughter from marring an indian...The god made the falls just in front of them as the tryed to sail away in a cano and the indian turned in to a tree in the hope of sawing his love letting her hold on to him... Sadly the girl couldn't hold on and she died... Acording to the legend the indian still stands as a tree listening to his girlfriends screem in the fall...
A sad story for some fantastic waterfalls... |

Ina, although I'm Brazilian, I don't know this place yet.
Great composition, pov and colors.
Congratulations on your note too.
Excellent choice of viewpoint - by focusing in on a section of these falls, which I understand are very wide, you show the strength og the rive and the height of the falls ver clearly.
Ina,
I've been there. I lived in Brazil 12 years.
You've made a well focused, balanced,& contrasted composition.
Liked your story. Well explained. You have captured a great amount of details; GOOD JOB.
Regards,
Mario.
