[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This picture is taken in an ametyst mine called 'Mina de Wanda' in the northern part of Argentina ( 200 km. from Iguacu)... I found it very facinating to see how the crystals was sitting in the bare rock looking almost like birds nests...
The 'crystal-nest' in front of this picture was about 80 cm tall...

Hi there Ina, these look almost sureal when first veiwed till your eye adjusts to them. For me it is good too to see them in situe, when we see them prepared in shops like little temples all light up so show them off.
The only small nit is the cropped top and the slightly out of focus bottom to the image, these are very small as the rest is well balanced and shows them well. TFS
