Hello Krzysztof,
Nice double show two Tropical Buckeyes
I guess these Tropical Buckeyes were warming themselves on the warm slabs of the sidewalks!
Both shots are sharp and though these specimens are somewhat worn the colours show well on their open wings.
Thanks for sharing this interesting image,
Ivan

I am chucking here a bit... It looks like an insurance company set of images showing the before and after of an auto accident...maybe a stretch...looks like this butterfly's deductible will cover damages...Fine image! Good story!

Hi Krzysztof.
Very nice trophies from Buenos Aires. It is really like to see the butterflies on sidewalk. First of all the pattern of the sidewalk is amazing too. It creates a very nice BG for pictured beauties. Despite the respectable age of the butterflies they are very nice. Details and colour reproduction are perfect. My best wishes and TFS.
Alexei.

Hello Chris,

A wonderfull double capture of these beautiful butterfiles! Excellent details and information.
TFS.

Hi Krzysztof,
Wonderful shot of these beautiful butterflies with such lovely colours and patterns on their wings. Very neat and sharp images but I would have liked to see them on flowers more. Anyway, they look gorgeous. Excellent top POV and fine composition. Kudos.
TFS.

Great shot Krzysztof!
What an unusual butterfly! I wonder why it prefers to flutter between cars and pollution to flying to vines and magnificent flowers in the rainforest! :-)
They both have beautiful colouring that stands out like a gem against the dull paving.
Good sharpness and clarity.
Great composition.
Very well done!
Thanks for sharing this,
Joe

They certainly are beautiful butterflies, exotic looking to those who are unfamiliar with them.
The colours are vibrant and rich.
Excellent markings captured, your open wing poses show off the patterns and colours well.

Hello Krzys,
No doubt there are insects who like the warmth generated in cities! Both butterflies and dragonflies seem to love sunbathing on stones and concrete surfaces! Fine presentation of these two images and interesting notes.
Many thanks, Ulla

Hi Krzysztof, lovely collage with two splendid urban butterflies, great colors and wonderful details, very well done, ciao Silvio

Hello Krzysztof,

Thank you very much for sharing with us that very nice butterfly used to use our sidewalks!

I suspect that the heat coming from sidewalks attract them...

I really like the different colors and pattern of its wings!

TFS once again :-)

Very nice shots of those beautiful butterflies Krzysztof! Very well done on this unusual setting. Thanks!

Hi Krzysztof,

It's amazing how many creatures have adopted our urban and citly landscapes for their own. In this country we have foxes, pigeons and numerous songbirds, but no butterfies that I'm aware of. I can't say that that they particularly blend into their habitat, but they certainly are pretty. Good capture and thanks for bringing them to TN.

Hi Krzysztof

Your butterflies have seen a lot of life. The city living hasn't looked after them. They still look very beautiful to me. Nice sharpness and a great presentation

I had to go back to this image which I somehow missed when you posted it, Chris. Its thumbnail caught my eye.
These are very pretty Pansies from Argentina though in their advanced stages of life.
The images are razor sharp and beautiful.
Thanks and take care.
