Very nice capture Ricardo, good details and close composition to appreciate this. I would have used the burn brush on areas of the wings to improve contrast in parts. well done.

Hola Ricardo,
has hecho un muy buen primer plano de esta mariposa, típica de nuestra zona y que ahora no abunda tanto por los pesticidas, antes las veíamos pasar en cantidades y las atrapaba en mi niñez.
Los colores y detalles son muy buenos.
Como siempre una completa nota.

Hola Ricardo,
Una foto muy atractiva, fruto de la combinación acertada de una luz cálida y suave paralela a las alas. La textura queda muy bien resaltada. Además el punto de vista es óptimo para mostrar las alas, tan a la altura de la cabeza que se superponen las antenas. El fondo natural, borroso, limpio y a juego con los tonos de la mariposa rematan el retrato. ¡Buen trabajo!

I like the dark green eye on this butterfly.
If the whole butterfly was that colour it would be much better camouflaged.

Excellent shot. I've never really noticed before, but the radiating lines of the veins are really clear in this shot and add quite a lot to this picture. Amazing detail, it's possible to imagine expressions on his face. Great colours and I like the tight crop. A lovely shot and interesting note, a great post.

The details are very sharp and the the exposure handled very well on the bright yellows. Nice OOF BG and the colorful notes to make this a great post.
