Very interesting bug you captured. i like that two dots on the face :-) So clooose one! Nice use of flash here. Hey look at that antennae like part on the right leaf! Is it antennae or what? If that is antennae where is the another one? Very interesting indeed!

Hello Ricardo,
this picture is very well composed, the insect and the plant its sits on seem to be of equal importance.
Although the insect seems to be slightly soft either due to the very close distance or a close cropping from a much larger original image, a good depth of field deliveres a lot of precise information on the insect. The flash might be taken for natural sunlight as it has been placed in a good distance, making the shadows appear very natural.

Hello Ricardo,
I'd say it's not a Lygaeidae, it's a Pyrrhocoridae, most probably a Dysdercus sp. (as far as I can see the ocelli are absent and pronotum is laterally margined).

Gran aumento, bonitos detalles y la composición genial con el capullo que nos permite hacernos una idea de su tamaño.
