I think that must have thought this stork when I approached to photograph it in zoo Temaikèn

Vulgar names: Cigüeña americana, magoray, tabuyayá, tuyango, yulo, gulo, cabeza de hueso, baguarí, mbaguarí (Argentina), Maguari stork (inglés)

Dimensions: Long. Total:90 to 110 cm
Long. of the wing: approximately 60 cm
Long. of the Tail: approximately 25 cm.
Inhabitant of most of South America, arriving by the south of Argentina until Chubut province .
It frequent the flooded zones, like marshes, totorales or edges of wamps in search of its consisting of food toads, frogs, insects, reptiles and even small mammals; and in such totorales he nests constructing his great nests with such vegetal. It nestles in the trees, the ground or the coast vegetation , constructing great platforms where it places of 1-3 eggs.
Youngs when being born presents/displays black feathers.
In Argentina, it does not cross a commitment situation

i like the high pov a lot! Very interesting and curious subject you captured sharp! But what are these oranges around the eyes? It looks so strange. Very nice action shot!

What a beak! Nice close up of your stork. I love the detail of his beak it really shows how massive it is. Nice colours too, and very interesting red markings around his eyes. Good note.

Ayer no alcancé a ver tu nueva presentación Hernan... otro acierto de POV logrado en Temaiken (aunque no lo creas, vivo en Baires y aun no lo conozco).
La nitidez es realmente muy buena, así como el DOF y el foco... el intenso sol hizo su trabajo como en casi todas la imágenes donde predomina el blanco... probaste en algunos disparos reducir la exposción con el paso +/- 0.5?. No conozco en detalle el funcionamiento de tu cámara, pero utilizando -2 y el flash, que resultados tenés con este tipo de tomas?.
Al margen de eso, el encuadre y la composción ameritan su publicación, sin dudas.

Hernan,
The beak and the eye are sharp. This is excellent. Compo too.
That said...there is an overexposure part in the bird probably due to the sunlight on the white parts. This can be managed with Photoshop tools..
