[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This Black-crowned Night-Heron (Nycticorax nycticorax or Garza Bruja in spamish)remained standing on the same rock for quite some time and did not seem to feel threatened by my presence.
The Black-crowned Night-Heron is the most widespread heron in the world. It feeds on a wide variety of prey including fish, frogs, snakes, lizards, insects, shrimps, rodents, bats and birds. Although they can be active during the day they are mainly crepuscular and nocturnal.

Very good shot, sharpness, and the lights are very nice.

Best regards

Murilo

Hello Ruth,
Very good portrait of this Black-crowned Night-Heron. The sun is harsh but there's no impact in the bird's area. A bit more on these rocks..
Overall well done
Annick

Hello Ruth,

You have shown well this bird in a good image. Due to the sharpness of the image good details of bird's body can be seen. Despite the strong light you have got fine colors on the plumage.

Thank you for sharing,
Cristian
