Wow, totally amazing! I just love the pose, the colours and the beautiful eye.

There seems to be some kind of glow around the bird, what is that?

Hallo Roberto
A lovely shot of this kingfisher. Not the usual prim and proper posed ones. I like the untidy feathers on its head. A lovely close up, well presented and worth a smiley. My first posting on Trek Nature was also a kingfisher and my eye tends to look out for them on the gallery. Its bill is almost larger than the bird. I like the big black eye and the different divisions of colours of the plumage. Really beautiful. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy your weekend.
