Interesting subjects are in the same frame again. These are different from usual nature photos. I like the icy coloured bg. Thanks for sharing...

Hi Radu,
You did a good job here on the exposure with the low light on the subject and the brighter ice for a backround. Nice subtle colors and sharp detail in the bird. The composition and framing look great. Well seperated from the backround. Looks very good to me!

Hi Radu,
Very descriptive note! A nice shot, a glacier in the background is quite dramatic. Exposure is great considering all that ice in the background, a really nice shot!

Wonderful picture of that little bird in front of the glacier (fragility vs strength!!!). Great pov, the wonderful background!!! Focus is great too!!! Do you know the name of the bird?

intresting composition, great snowy background, but i think is too much blue on this image. the little reducing of blue will help and put in front of attention the great plumage of a bird.

I like the blue lighting in this image it gives the picture atmosphere, and tells the viewer that it is a cold place. I think you chose a nice DOF that helps isolate the main subject from the background well. I myself would of chose a fill flash to illuminate the bird a little more so the background doesn't compete with bird as much. :)
