One of my favourite species of birds ever. Survival skills of a crow, looks of an eagle, power of a vulture and brains of a raven, God pourred all that on a shaker one day, mixed it up real, good and released it on the American continent, what flu out of that shaker was a crested caracara...

Hello Radu, this is a very fine shot. Thatīs very interesting bird. Excellent details and good tones of colours. A great capture, very well done. Have a nice weekend.

Hi Radu,
Nice composition and a good contrast between the grassy forground and the soft background. Pose of the birds is great, TFS

Very nice shot, and the crop suits the composition well - although I might have left a little more foreground space if possible. Shows the windswept habitat nicely!
Nigel.

Definitely one of MY favorite bird species as well, though I have only seen them once in my life, in Costa Rica. I did not get a chance to capture them with my camera, and I enjoy tremendously when I see them on TN. Great job on this pair, who looks like perfect clones of each other. Interesting composition. Great job, Radu, and TFS. : )

Hi Radu,
I find the landscape format and composition you chose well suited to show these two beauties. Very well done!
I have seen a crested caracara named "Tequilla" in a park in Florida lately, and enjoyed it very much.
Regards,
Gabi

Tout simplement parfait. Bravo

This is great!
I don't know much about Caracaras, but judgeing on your description these must be amazing birds.
Photo has superb framing and composition perfect for this kind of shot. It's also very clear and has lovely colours though maybe it's a it too soft.

I like it very much :)

Lovely birds, none down this way though, would dearly love to catch a few shots of these beauties, nice camera work.

Greg

Very nice shot of these Caracara, I like the panaramic formatting as well. These are really beautiful birds. :)

Hi Radu

Nicely composed shot. Great looking birds. A large post would be nice :-) No nits here. Thanks.
