Milvago chimango a Caracara or Matamicos, the family of Falconidae, the male somewhat smaller (38cm) than females (42cm). Usually brown, lower belly reaching more pale whitish in the sub flow; basis of Primary white tail and white finely barred from black, darker at the tip.

Hi Roberto, I'm always very impressed by birds of prey and mostly when someone takes a picture while flying. This one feeds my curiosity of how they fly, how they land as our eyes don't see their wings' movements. Nice shot, well composed and I like the old branches where the bird lands. Thank you!
