Hi all!
this is another of my summer trekkings pics. This is "El Zorro waterfall". This waterfall takes the name from the water stream that follows the waterfall, call "el zorro", which means "the fox".
This place is in Huemul´s peninsula, at Nahuel Huapi´s national park. To arrive here there is not a path, you must jumb across the stream, trying to find your own way , walk over fallen trees, stepping stones, etc, for about an hour and a half or two hours.
It´s a very strange place, because you walk trough this stream and at both sides you have the forest walls, so you feel like in a small canyon.
The forest here is call "transitional forest", because is between the andinean forest and the estepa. You can find some coihues, cipreses, some high mountain flowers (like my last post, the perezia fonkii, or topa-topa, etc).
The waterfall is quite high, I really don´t know the exact meters. But this picture is just the first part!! This pic is a bit strange, because this waterfall is not use to have too much water as you can see, usually there is only one big fall and some little by it sides. As last year we had too much snow and to much rain, this summer the waterfalls were great!
This day was very cloudy and it was close to rain, so light is no the best. The pic was taken near 18.00hs
I hope you like this one!

Hi Brenda!

It's sometimes difficult to get a photographically perfect picture because of the light conditions. But on the other hand the souvenir, the atmosphere and the spot a picture can capture may be as valuable as a perfect picture. This is certainly the case here. Moreover, your nevertheless very pleasant picture is well accompanied by your interesting notes.

Kind regards

Markus

Hello Brenda,
Beautiful scene superbly captured with your great camera work. Your trek to get here sounds difficult but the scene well worth the effort, thank you Brenda.

Hola Brenda.

Tremenda caida de agua al parecer de una altura considerable y con el nombre del zorro que resulta bien curioso.

Saludos.
Jose luis.

Hello Brenda

What a wonderful POV.
The composition is excellent, the cascading water is beautiful.
The lighting is natural and the colours are well saturated.

Magnificent drop! Seems like it would be nice to stand in on a hot day! Very pretty!

Hi Brenda,

The capture of the water movement of the fall is an asset to the composition. The subject is well framed. The point of view leads our eyes towards the rocks at the top of the fall. There is a good contrast between the colors. have a nice day.
