Another image, perhaps most difficult to catch of a fly... to front .

The eyes of the flies are of most complex in the world of the insects. Are eyes composed with many facets or individual lenses, each one representing an individual unit to detect the light.

A domestic fly has 2,000 units in each eye. The eyes of the fly do not have eyelids, then the fly rubs the eyes with the feet to maintain their eyes clean.

With the little hairs that cover their body, the flies can savor, smell and feel.

The little hairs in the buccal parts and the legs of the fly are used to savor.

The flies savor what they are above. If they step on something flavorful, they lower the mouth and they return it to prove.

The flies use other little hairs to perceive when they touch something. These little hairs bend when they touch them. The fly cleans up constantly.

The fly walks by smooth surfaces using the plants of the quilted and sticky legs that are as glue and allow that the fly walks mouth by glasses down.

Well Ricardo, this is outstanding, well done, and then I like what you did in the notes too. Care to post the "How To" of ignoramuses like me?

Very good Ricardo.
I like the colours in the eyes.
It's a great image.
Good note like usual.
Well done.

superbe mouche !
Bonne pdc.
tres belle macro et superbes notes ;)

Very nice Ricardo. Nice colors and very nice exposure. I think it might be just a little oversharpened, but very good overall.

Very nice Ricardo and as you say not easy. I think the focus is on the centre of the body leaving the head slightly soft. It's a great POV and good colours. Well done.

There's a fly on my screen, a "big" one !
Nice details, very close-up, Ricardo !

Very nice shot Ricardo. Excellent detail and lovely colours. (Lovely... fly?, it just doesn't stick) Great shot.

Ricardo
This is a very good macro. You did a great job on it.

I love green eyes I'm about to fall in love...
How that's a fly??
Great shot I love it

carmem

Eye to eye with the fly ! Again due to a little magnification this image lost some if its sharpness due to lack of blacks, maybe pushing blacks will give you a crisper image. Nevertheles your fly is pretty fly (here in southern California ,,fly,, in slang stands for ,,cool,, !)
