Diagnóstica description:
Amplitude eave: of 24 to 30 mm dimorphic Sexes.
The dorsal surface is of iridiscente mulberry color with spots of shining color orange in subapice.

Habitat: Edges of forest and margins of gorges.

Feeding: The males visit grounds and humid sands.

Relations: Hospedera plant: Celtis iguanae (Jacq.) Sarg. (Ulmaceae).

Distribution: subspecies in Amazon area.

What stunning colors, Ricardo. I have never seen a butterfly with such beautiful colors. That is quite a treat. : )

Otro excelente ejemplar para una bonita foto. Esta claro que la sombra era inevitable esta vez :)
Sigo viendo que falta una mascara de enfoque, y tambien que la compresión es visible por culpa del tamaño de la imagen (60 Kb.)
Necesitas un programa de retoque fotografico que te permita aplicar mascaras de enfoque o "unsharpen mask" y tambien que al salvar te permita elejir la cantidad de compresion jpg para ajustarte a los 200 Kb. permitidos y no perder calidad.
