[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note

Here I publish a new image of a exemplar of bumblebee similar to the previous one denominated Fly Bumblebee... Fly!, to even satisfy the interrongante with Paul (PDP) of being able to see this species from another perspective.

In this case is another variety, whose streaks color fire are not completed on the back of the insect as in the previous case.

The particularitity is that those of this color, always take with same himself pollen yellow as it is appraised in the image, whereas in those of complete bands never I have seen it of this form.

Here you can clearly be appraised the eye and its antennas... them memory that my calculation is that they measure at least 50 to 60mm. of length and that they have demonstrated to me to be as tolerant as the bees at the moment for approaching to portray them.

Aquí publico una nueva imagen de un ejemplar de abejorro similar al anterior denominada Vuela Abejorro... Vuela!, incluso para satisfacer el interrongante de Paul (PDP) de poder ver esta especie desde otra perspectiva.

En este caso se trata de otra variedad, cuyas rayas color fuego no se completan sobre el lomo del insecto como en el caso anterior.

La particularidad es que los de este color, siempre llevan consigo mismo polen amarillo como se aprecia en la imagen, mientras que en los de bandas completas nunca lo he visto de esta forma.

Aquí puede apreciarse el ojo y sus antenas nítidamente... les recuerdo que mi cálculo es que miden al menos 50 a 60mm. de largo y que me han demostrado ser tan tolerantes como las abejas en el momento de acercarse para retratarlos.

Fabulous shot Ricardo. This must be the biggest bee iv ever seen. It would be nice to see it next to your finger for scale. O sorry I forgot, I know how you feel about fingers ;)

A monster he surely looks in this capture. Nice catch Ricardo. I have seen a couple of the bumbles but they keep evading me. I'd love a shot like this.

He looks like he has been rolling in the pollin. The colors are contrasing and that adds to the impact of the shot. Great sharpness and DOF in this one.
