Great picture Ricardo! Transparent moth is perfectly captured and astounding. But stalk of grass is halftransparent, too and light-sruck and I like this effect very much.

Don't know what species this is, but it's definitely interesting with the transparent patches on the wings. We've seen see-through butterflies, but I think this is a first for moths ;-))
The eyes look very similar to the eyes we find on the all-white ones we get around here, so maybe a relative of those.
Nice and sharp capture, good diagonal.

Increibles las transparencias que has obtenido con el contraluz. Las plantas estan muy bien, pero la doble transparencia de planta+ala ya es rizar el rizo, y se distingue perfectamente. La simetria diagonal es casi perfecta. Una foto muy divertida de ver.

Very interesting capture Ricardo. I have never seen anything like this one - not even on a picture. Looks like it is of the same family as the glass-wings (which it is not of course). You are right about the lenght and thikness of the antennas - strange.

Amazing moth Ricardo. I have no idea what is is but would love to know. If you find out please tell me. Great shot, I like the way the clear sections of hte wings appear to optically distort the background. Good work.

A lovely moth, well camouflaged, I love the transluscent patches, it helps him to appear less obvious to predators!
I shot more than 1600 pics, and still have not finished the 1800 from Kruger shot in Sept, so, you might be surprised by what gets posted.

The clear wings are certainly an interesting feature of this moth. It appears no one has been able to identify it yet either. You have done well with the macro here and the green gives the image a living feel

I had a look into your beautiful archive, wow, that's what I love. So many wonderful and interesting insects, all excellent.
This moth I like so much because of the glass-wings. I was so impressed to see a Glasswing-butterfly, to see now a moth with this wonderful wings is so phantastic.

Hello Ricardo,
very interesting moth captured in a very beautiful light that higlights some scales in a magnificent three dimensional way. Stunning to see the transparent windows in between the strong contour dissolving markings that makes the moth almost disappear. Composition is straight and clear.
