Nice shot Ricardo, it's a bit too dark, and the focus a bit soft.

I agree with Philip's comment about brightness/contrast, but this is not a common damselfly to me (at least in Europe), and it widens the gallery diversity. Like Gert's magpie (common, but difficult to photography), these shots are, IMO, amongst the most valuable ones to illustrate nature's treasures in our respective regions. A well expressed note too, Ricardo.

Never seen this before.
Good details and colours, and I like the composition.
Maybe a fill-in flash to light up the shadows from the backlighting.Good note.

First of all I like diagonal composition of your photo, Ricardo. Second - good contrast with green leaf and red damselfly. And third - its fragile and sharply captured wings. Good work.

Very good macro Ricardo. I would also have to say that some fill flash might've helped. The natural light works well also with the added benefit of the included shadow seen. Very good detail for this small subject.. Great post of this new species!

This is excellentcomposition with good sharpness. The image could have been a lighter, which would have added to the already high impact of the shot.
