[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [Spanish]
A photo taken last Saturday, when we were with Nelly (Yllen) to see that we could portray. It is taken with a magnifying glass ahead to shorten a little the focus to about 5 cm.
I hope you like it.

A Vista of the trunk of a Palo borracho, with its numerous thorns. The image is rotated 90º so that she is more aesthetic.
Scientific or Latin name: Speciosa Chorisia St.-Hill. -
common or vulgar Name: Chorisia, drunk Wood, Tree bottle, Arbol of the wool, pink Wood, Samohu.
- Family: Bombacaceae.
- Origin: Brazil, Northeast Argentina , Paraguay.
- Tree that reaches in a our average about 15 m. of height, with the greenish trunk, covered of conical stings.
- So large: Average of 8 to 10 ms of stop and 4 to 6 ms of diameter.
- Trunk thickened as a bottle. Made bristle smooth crust of heavy conical thorns.
- Leaves: It expires. Tree caducifolio. - alternating, palmaticompuestas Leaves, long pecioladas, folíolos 6-7 of margin indented, peciolulados. Estípulas you expire.
- Flowers two-color pencil, roses and in the white and yellow interior. Time of final flowering of the summer, principles of autumn.

it is multiplied normally by seeds that only produce the adult units. The once mature fruit begins to open itself, reason why haste is necessary to occur before the seeds are dispersed by the wind. The seeds are seeded directly, without previous treatments, and germinate with facility.

amazing details on the trunk with its thorns - they really
could be small mountains on a landscape-model.
superb idea with the rotation, good sharpness and terrific
pov giving the "landscape" a sense of depth.

Sin dudas, me agrada más que la anterior Hernan, porque aquí has logrado un excelente brillo y contraste que realza y profundiza la imagen.
Excelente POV y DOF con un foco bien nítido sobre las púas anteriores y un fondo difuso muy adecuado.

It looks like a miniature mountain range. Quite amazing shot with your home-made macro kit, some wonderful results you have achieved. Great detail here and excellent light and contrasts. Fantastic work.

First, I thought this was a durian fruit skin. Then after I read your note, I knew this was something else, bark of a tree.
Aesthetic way of showing this morphological characteristic of Speciosa chorisia.
Great macro-shot, sharp, well focused.
