[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [Spanish]
I denominated thus the image, because in one of my travel of the Ecologic Reserve Costanera Sur, I detected this fly on the leaf of a shrub.

I thought that as soon as it approached to me would leave flying, but consider that by the cold that morning (near 4ºC or 38ºF) one was very calm. It only hit upon to move of place within the leaf, if my shade prevented the contact him with the sun.

Thus, I could portray it with the tele to less than 10 cm. of distance.
Finally, to verify that really it could fly, I moved my hand on the leaf and I took leave immediately of her.

I believe that a specimen is the Calliphora sort, denominated Blue Fly commonly.

I include like WORKSHOP, another image of the same one in different perspective.

Nice one Ricardo. Good colours and composition. Maybe he has flown into something his left eye looks a little crushed. Well done.

HAh, An ugly pest, and yet so facinating and beautiful in its own right! This is very nice Ricardo, the diagonal makes a strong compo in the frame. I think it would work even with a closer crop on the back too. Well done.

Great photo of the "beast", Ricardo. The shrub leaf makes a great color contrast with the fly, and I'm impressed with the detail in the wings, and the red color of the eyes. Well captured.

beautiful colors, sharp, good work. only a bit too bright

Excellent macro Ricardo , great colors and good pov . .good job !!

A sharp one, that you could "catch" this one, most of the time they're flying away before you are "there"...
