Lamentably I did not find much information on this species.
One is a Metallic Green Bee of the Augochlora genre (possibly Augochlora pure).

I only could sight them in an opportunity and very little amount.

One is an insect of not but of 10mm. of length with really showy colors. About a first moment, I thought that one was some species of ant.

In 2 opportunities, I could descry it in the same flower that a common bee, coexisting without disadvantages.

I hope you like it.

Very well captured with excellent DOF and color. This insect probably has a servant to polish that shiny body, and he drives a Porche.

Excelent work

I've not seen anything like this! Excellent capture Ricardo. You've got it's irredescence well and it's a good composition. Well done and thank you.

Japie: :-)

First for me too. Lovely capture. Great DOF and perfect exposure. I love this. Great work. Thanx Ricardo.

Ricardo
Nice metalic sheen on this little bee amd the pink? of the thistle? goes well with his colour. I like the overall impact of this picture.

It's a beautiful photo, Ricardo. The pink flower makes a nice diagonal in the frame, and the shiny green insect makes quite a flashy appearance on top of it :-) Great color and light setting, and good use of DOF.

Strange bee for sure. Have never seen anything like this but I havenīt been to south america either so...

If I should complain about something it should be that the focus seems to be a little in front of the bee but it doesnīt matter much. Good work.
