| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| A cicada is any of several insects of the order Hemiptera, suborder Auchenorrhyncha, in the superfamily Cicadoidea, with small eyes wide apart on the head and transparent, well-veined wings. Cicadas live in temperate to tropical climates where they are one of the most widely recognized of all insects, largely due to their large size and remarkable (and often inescapable) acoustic talents. |

Hello Gabriel.
Despite opposite light you caught this guy very well and show all interesting carachters of its body us. Congratulations and TFS dear friend. I love TN, I always learn a new thing with a new photo, like this. And thanks for very informative note.
Take care, greetings.

very nice. colorful and detailed.
I would have like a background more out of focus.
It would have been useful to mention in the note that this is a exuviae (empty skin from the larva). The actual cicada is singing somewhere else at the moment.
